Giuseppe Rivadossi / Habito

Sculptor Giuseppe Rivadossi was born in 1935, having his first sculpture exhibition in 1968. With his sons Emanuele and Clemente, he now manages Habito di Giuseppe Rivadossi, an atelier and workshop where his pieces come to life, where wood is hand worked, and assembled predominantly through joints to obtain objects that are both poetic and domestic, ancient and light, material and ethereal. Habito's aim is to bring the legacy together in an intensely distinctive language and develop it in the home setting in a way that is increasingly suited to the demands of contemporary man, presenting not only individual sculptural pieces but also more complex and structured projects and wall systems.
