Madia Lombarda Cabinet

<p>Lombarda is a two-door cabinet, consisting of window elements of diminishing size, joined together by a hidden core.<br />All the surfaces are manually finished by planing.<br />The entire manufacturing and finishing process is carried out manually in our workshop.<br />The wood used for this item is linden, typical of the European climate zone and used in traditional Latin sculpture. With a faint grain, linden is distinguished by a soft but extremely “bonded” fibre: it therefore combines a certain lightness with great mechanical toughness. Its pale colour is highly valued and over time takes on a delicate pink hue.<br />In the Lombarda cabinet, the edges outline the shape of a volume which dissolves in space. The vertical stance and diminishing windows convey an infinite habitat.</p>

Vela Dining Table - <p>Vela is a table made as a single block using wood with vertical grain. It is manually finished on all sides using a gouge. The top is made of 2 cm thick extra-clear glass.<br /> The entire manufacturing and finishing process is carried out manually in our workshop. The wood used for this piece is Juglans Regia – common Italian walnut; not dried but “raw”. This wood belongs to the Latin tradition of furniture-making and features an extremely compact fibre which can, however, be worked without too much difficulty; it is therefore highly suitable for household items.<br /> Over time the wood hardens and becomes extremely resistant, and oxidises slightly to take on a progressively warmer amber colour.</p> | Arteficius

Del Sogno Cabinet - <p>Del Sogno is a two-door cabinet made as a single block using wood with vertical grain.<br /> It is manually finished on all sides using a gouge. The burnished steel latches and hinges are specially designed and crafted. Pot Cabinet - <p>A piece of great visual effect, this credenza is part of a limited series of 10 numbered pieces. Handcrafted of lime wood with a white finish, it has a square frame composed of two doors with invisible metal hinges. The front panels and the sides are patiently carved by hand in full relief with a gouge and plane to obtain a geometrical pattern that evokes soap bubble circles. The result is a minimalist object of great visual impact that is sure to grab glances and compliments in an entryway, a living room and a bedroom.</p> | Arteficius
